2500 distributor
Discussion
I fitted a "123 Ignition" distributor about 3 years ago on my Vixen 2500 and I am happy with the results. There are a couple of options, I chose the Bluetooth version which means you can access it from your smartphone, make advance/retard adjustments, create files with different curves, set a rev limiter etc etc. You can even immobilise your car with it and just key in a PIN on your phone to enable it again.
It saves on checking gaps and changing points and condensers but I know some are against replacing the distributor. Could be an ideal time to give it a try if your distributor is being troublesome.

Hi, is there any way of checking if you have the right distributor for your car? Mines been playing up so wondering If that's causing some of my problems. Currently have my carburettors in at Andrew Turners for a re-build.
My engine is a 1974 2500TC one.
Thanks.
Try Gary Bates at TRGB, what he doesn’t know no one does. He’ll tell you if you have the right one or not and won’t try to sell you anything unless you really need it or to improve what you have.My engine is a 1974 2500TC one.
Thanks.
