Having some issues removing the pedal assembly due to a single fixing. Having removed the bolt , the thread fitting has a flared collar on top, which prevents me pulling it down into the footwell. All other fixings were removed without fuss, just this one causing issues Any advice is welcome.
I‘m pretty sure the „hole“ you are pointing at , is where the throttle cable comes out. There wasn‘t a bolt in it. Are you sure it‘s stuck on that one ?
62stevew is correct, it’s a bush for the throttle cable. It will be rusted into pedal box housing. Penetrating oil and a lever between fibreglass and pedal box helped me remove mine, along with a lot of jigging and twisting, be careful not to break the fibreglass though!
Of course, that explains it. I've a rotten memory, I only removed the cable in the last couple of months !. I have taken plenty of photos to compensate. Thank you both. I'll keep applying penetrant and see how I get on.
