That looks like a very well sorted Vixen and for the money excellent value. I love the fact that it's been made competition ready without losing any of the road car elements. Vixens are fantastic fun to drive on short circuits but IMHO too many have been turned into effectively track only cars. It's such a shame because they're also lovely road cars when set up like this with full trim retained.
Knowing how much time and money it takes to get a Vixen to this level, I'd say it's got to worth close to £30k. Obviously I'm saying that when I haven't seen the car and don't know much about the spec. But I'm presuming as it states a body off rebuild it's had the chassis, engine, full drivetrain and suspension rebuilt as well as what you can see in the photos.
The 3 questions I have are 1) it looks like it may be running a 5 speed box from that 'horrible' gear knob. 2) what is the engine spec. It states 1600cc but as it's been built with track in mind and it's running twin 40's, has it been modified and if so what's the spec. 3) What suspension is it running.
Anyone know the car and can provide some more info?
Strange that it's a S2 with cable clutch. I thought S2's were all hydraulic.

I guess, if you look at this Tuscan V6 for (now) 42k and is pretty rare with just 100 made and looks spanking new, the price for the Vixen S2 is not to cheap compared to (in the pictures at least superb) the Tuscan.
I thought it would have gone way faster... just like some old Griffith and V8 Tuscan which are even longer on sale I think (not sure)
anyhow, lovely Tuscan V6

Well spotted Moto, that gear knob is a Type 9 one and it’s difficult to get a hydraulic clutch with that gearbox so it must have been converted to fit the 5 speed. An excellent car and with all bells and whistles then by the looks.
Never driven a Sierra ?? N
a really nice car.....and the 5-speed conversion also makes sense....especially for driving longer distances.
what looks strange is the crankcase ventilation of this engine in combination with the hermetically sealed alloy rocker-cover.
"car was built with competition in mind"....thats a laugh: 1 lap on the track with constant high revs and the engine would spit-ou all its oil through the block-breather, due to lack of breathing through the rocker-cover.
nothing which cannot be fixed (just put the standard rocker cover back or drill a hole for an additonal breather in the allyo one)...but here you can see that this car was never really used and still some "engineering" necessary.
at the end of the day its just a bog-standard 1600cc escort engine where some twin 40ies have been fitted.
