I was there, I've driven quiet carefully because I had to take the ferry that night to go to England, with the TVR, but it was anyway a lot of fun. Personaly I just think the relay race is something "too much", it takes a lot of time, for only 20 drivers who enjoy it, but it's just my opinion. I had to leave before the end, went back to Liege, than, Calais, Goodwood (wonderfull!!!) and then back to Belgium yesterday. 1300 Kms in 3 days, including the laps in Zolder...the Grantura has been perfect, absolutly no problem!
Bert painted his car in Benetton F1 colours when Schumacher M was driving for them. I didn't make it to Zolder this year, but I've seen the car develop over the years from a quick 3000M to the beast that it is now.
Bert has lightened the car by removing virtually everything that doesn't contribute to it accelerating, deccelarating or going round corners.
The brakes and diff are also Cosworth Sierra, in fact there is very little now left of the car that was fitted by the Factory
