Seeking help with the above and apologies but as a PH newbeee I've posted in General Gassing in error under the same title. The Tuscan has dropped off the DVLA radar as its been off the road for nearly 40 years but to put it back on I'll need some assistance with its provenance prior to 1980 - that means I'll be talking to the grey hairs but as I am one that should make the communication easier !! There, I've put the bottle in the water ...

SF is an Edinburgh registration number if that helps.
The club would probably have some info so I would suggest giving them a call.
Are you on Facebook? There are several groups for older TVR’s which have a lot of knowledge between them.

Registration is same prefix as my Vixen
There a a number of V6 Tuscan owners on the Pre 80s TVR Owners group on face book.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/ClassicTVR/
So worth joining and asking there.
Yes the DVLA are not making life easy these days.

With the much appreciated help of GreenKing, this car is now mine and safely residing in my storage unit from where it will be restored in due course. It is a really original car with an interesting history and I am very much looking forward to having it on the road.
