Some M Series Bits
Discussion
Hi all, mindful this isn't a 'for sale' forum but just wanted to give like minded people a heads up that I'm going to be listing some parts on a well known auction site in the near future.
I have (in no particular order) the following parts which have come from a 1977/8 3000M showing around 80k miles which was stood for around 15 years:
5 x T Slot 6x14 alloys. Wheels are in good physical shape but are suffering from lacquer peel. There is one tyre which looks to be ok (the spare) but the rest are either the wrong size, heavily weathered or both!
4 speed 'side rail' overdrive gearbox & selector. With bell housing, clutch slave, bracket, crossmember, overdive unit, linkages etc.
TR6 type diff, I believe it it 3.45:1 but haven't checked. I would assume that it will need new seals as it is a bit wet but otherwise seems ok.
Propshsft (overdrive type)
Rear brakes complete with new wheel cylinders (think the drums have been stoved or similar)
Left & right driveshaft + hub/bearing assemblies
I think I have a manifold back stainless exhaust too but need to check that it is still there.
Once listed I'll put some links.
Thanks Stew.
