Vixen Courtesy/interior light

There has been some discussion on Facebook about the source of Vixen courtesy lights and I am posting this up here for people who don't do facebook in case it is useful to anyone looking for one of these.

These are now very rare items and the source has been a bit of a mystery. Anyhow, by complete chance I have managed to find one in its box complete with instruction sheet. They are a Sparto item, code 6141. I am not sure whether this makes them any easier to find, but you never know!

Never really considered mine but it looks nothing like that.

I guess that means it's not original although as the last S3 made perhaps TVR had run out of the Sparto version and fitted anything to hand. Who knows !

Yes you could well be right there. If it was the last one off the line and they had run out of the usual fitting, why not?

Interesting, thanks Alan. It looks like Moto could well be right then, TVR seemed to have swapped over to a new lamp around the end of the series 3 production.
