Anyone with experiende TVR 3000m/Taimar with 7x14 310 out?

Just fitted Wolrace wheel with this dimension and 205/70R14. The tyre rubs on the inner wheelarch. Is it enough to shave off the lip somewhat?

On my 1976 3000M i have the original "T" slots with 205/70 14" fitted and no clearance problems

As TVR shells were never made to identical tolerances, checking with other owners will not necessarily give you a reliable answer. Different ride heights, spring rates etc will also make significant difference to whether or not you will suffer tyre rub.

And how central the body was put on!

I know it does not give me any guarantees. It gives me a feeling knowign what other have experienced..... Someone told me that he had these in the past and took away some material of the lip. Additionally he did limited spring travel, so the wheel could not come in too far. T-slot wheels are not 7J and are also not 310 out in offset. It probably would not have rubben with Wolfrace 6J and the same tyres… So, if some guys have more experiences, let me know.
