That's strange because "M" reg is not 1972

Built: 28-Sep-72, Regn: 25-Oct-73

That puts it on the motorshow stand in 1972 and makes it a M reg :-)

I think "M" is 1973 to 1974.
I thought "K" is 1971 to 1972.
So maybe the reg was changed.
Perhaps the reg was changed at the end of 1971.

The car is now sold and gone to a new home.
Its a very early example even has the same green vin plate type that the Vixens had Richard Thorp at RT Racing built a new chassis for the car and all the parts are there so a great project probably had the Vixen 1600 lube plate in the engine bay fitted as well as i have seen a few early 1600Ms with that .

It does have that lube plate on lol
Paintwork was st, looked like someone painted it then threw a bag of dust on it :-(
Was going to buy it till I found out it was the show car and decided that someone who would keep it more original should probably have the chance of it
