Hello.
I’m new TVR owner with two 1974 2500M to do full frame off restore.
One is complete and the other is complete body, interior and frame. Only.
Not having knowledge of these cars, I’m in education mode.
I’ll start with the complete car, but while doing it, I’ll try to locate what I need for the second car.
I need to source entire suspension.
What suspension pieces are triumph and what are unique to TVR?
I have a parts manual.
I have a complete machine shop, so I can make almost anything.
I’m not worried about originality on 2nd car, so if there are aftermarket parts, I’ll take that route for it. I’ll likely do small block V8 for it.
Appreciate any help.

These are pretty simple cars, by the sounds of it you won’t have any problems with a rebuild.

All wishbones are bespoke TVR fabrications.
Rear upright castings are bespoke TVR, some have recreated their own by fabricating them.

Other than that it’s pretty much Ford or Triumph.

There are still people out there who supply all the bits rather than trawling around different suppliers.

Good luck with your projects.

Thank you
I take it there is no reference to what is Ford and what is Triumph?
Ie, differential and axles. Parts that might normally come from salvage and restored.
