Hello,

I am trying to determine how the interior of a 1960s Griffith 200 appeared near the side vents by the driver/passenger foot well areas inside the car. Was there carpet or vinyl on the interior of this portion of the car near the vents OR was it left as bare fiberglass near these areas because of the potential for water intrusion? Any photos or descriptions of how this area appears from the factory would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If its of any help when i addressed this on the Tuscan i was concerned that carpet would get wet and rot so the area at the side i lined with the same ribbed rubber mat you should have in the engine day and drilled a drain in the well that side of the chassis rail at the front.
Whats original i dont know however my late MK3 1800 Same period as a 200 had no carpets but this rubber matting right through the floor area
