Hello,

Any Griffith 200 one owner and/or factory original interior cars out there? I am finishing up interior restoration on my Griffith 200. When I purchased the car, the rear spare tire cover was missing from the car. I have attached a photo of what I believe the rear spare tire cover rear apron should look like (from a one owner car but I believe it has been redone). Does anyone have a photo of the rear tire cover from a factory original car?

Anyone have any close up photos of the attachment points of the rear wood/fiberglass portion? Was it attached with screws through wood fiberglass to the car or did it simply "sit" in the space and perhaps held in place with snaps through the vinyl cover? Does anyone have any close up photos of the rear ledge and/or vinyl cover connection points?

Thank you!

On my MK3 which would have been built along side the 200s the spare sits upright in front of the fuel tank not flat like in the picture i would have expected the same on a Griffith.

I see you have a example picture from this site?

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965-griffith-se...

those are handy sites sometimes, many detailed pictures of cars.

have you also seen this one? also the spare tire flat and detail were the 'hole' sits, not sure if original but cool.

maybe you can also find some answers to your other questions?

Yep...I have been all over the web in search of some good photos of this area. Got a couple of "from the outside" shots but I would really like some up close & inside shots of an original or near original car if anyone can help. Thanks for the links!
