M series seats
Discussion
Had a quick look, sorry, not really a lot of pics on internet, most of outside of car - you may have to join the Tvr car club to access a proper photo gallery.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TVR_M_series - Does mention types, & why old seats may have to be replaced a lot & various models....
https://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/tvr-m-series.html - Mostly external pics
Another issue you may have, in that being a 'special', the V8 may also have had it's own special seats?
Someone will probably be along to confirm, good luck with your search.

I may be wrong but I seem to think the earliest M's had the Vixen high back seats as standard.

That ties in with what were fitted to my Tuscan V6. As they have fixed backs, did they tilt forward on the frame to allow access to the spare wheel?Moto

No tilt. But no problem with spare wheel access as although they were named 'highback' (because there was also a very low back option) the top of the seat still only comes to the base of the neck. The spare wheel will go in and out with ease, even with a 195 tyre fitted and the seats all the way back.Moto

The original seats in my 72 1600M were high-backs with vinyl sides and cloth centres, I believe they were off the shelf Paddy Hopkirk branded items, Geoff
Interesting to hear that as they sound like the seats fitted to another Vixen that I used to own. Mind you, it had an Alfa Romeo twin cam engine and a Vauxhall Carlton gearbox, so originality wasn't it's strong point!Gassing Station | TVR Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
