Does anyone know of a good source for new rear screens for the Grantura Mk3? The later Vixen type seems easily available online, but drawing a blank on the earlier ones.

You can ask Klaus in Germany who made them as well in the past. His homepage with contact details is here:

Who ever you order from, note that this is part of a mechanical joint that is the, shell/screen rubber/screen and having supplied screen rubber for 30 years. My advice would be that you order a 6mm item. A@

Did you buy the rear screen for a MK3? I looked at the website and did not see any for the 3.

The hard coat is certainly worth doing i was very impressed with the finish on the new one i ordered for my Tuscan earlier in the year in 6mm with the vents.
Long lead time as they have to send them to Holland in batches to have the coating done but leaves a finish that is very close to the feel of a glass one

Although I've yet to receive the screen I have to say that their pre purchase customer service and communication is excellent and they went out of their way to demonstrate the durabililty of the hardcoating and to ensure the correct vent location with drawings etc and that I got what I wanted. They are able to offer more screens than are currently listed on their website and also other vent designs, so if you don't see what you want curently on the website ask them and you might be pleasantly surprised. I went for a long single vent style which covers 3 vent holes rather than 2 or 3 separate circular vents. Yes if you order the hard coating it bumps the leadtime up to 2 months at the moment, but if it means I get the screen I want and it's the quality of product I'm led to expect I'm prepared to wait.

Thank you for the additional information on the screens, I'll have to contact them.
