interesting car....but what should the final auction result in US mean for the market over here in europe?

nothing....different country, different prices...if you buy there you need to calculated at least 30% on top (maybe even 50) until the car is ready to drive inside the EU.

5% import duty no vat to pay. From memory to ship in a 20ft container with insurance from New Jersey docks £2400. Plus whatever you pay to get the car shipped from its location to the docks. The vehicle must be titled.

MAL008 was in januari for sale at Hemmings for 105.000 usd.
i payed about 3500€ to ship my 1972 2500 vixen hybrid to Belgium.
escrow service, transport from owner to shipping company, tranport container to Rotterdan, transport to my home. .
not included import tax (6% in Belgium).
