On my 1976 3000M i would like to find out where the "Bulkhead Terminal" is hidding.
On the Wiring Diagram it should have 3 Wires on it : N brown x 2 and NU brown/black. It's identified on dia as "Main Terminals on Bulkhead".
Can someone help please

NU Brown/Black - Should be Brown/Blue

There are images in this page, I don't know if you have already seen them https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=12...

Update my 1976 3000M is chassis 3582FM.
My TVR Owners Handbook has a Wiring dia on back page which starts at chassis 3668 later on in production.
I have fitted a new brown wire direct from Battery to Ignition Switch to be sure there are no bad connections anywhere. I have also fitted a new Ignition Switch.
That should fix the intermitant supply from the Ignition Switch.
Maybe the intermitant supply from the Ignition Switch was a duff Switch but i only like to do a job once lol

Crazy

You're crazy for blowing your money
You're crazy
Crazy building TVR's better than new

I knew
You'd use whatever cable you wanted
And then today
You chose brown not the blue

Worry
Why let yourself worry
Wondering
If the ignition switch is poo

Oh crazy
For thinking low volts could stop you

Crazy for trying
And crazy for wiring
Shame the old loom wouldn't do

Kalimera,
The cable colour on thhe "M" Wiring Diagram is brown to Bulkhead Terminal.
From Bulkhead Terminal to Ignition is brown with blue tracer, to Alternater brown with black tracer.
I am lucky on my 3000m colour coded but on my 3000s all cables are black.

Yes, I know you have used the correct colour, I needed rhyming words to the Patsy Cline song

Black,Black,Black,Black,Black,Black,Black,Black,Black and Black is a nightmare that I have had to battle through on numerous occasions

Have fun as good thinkers do

Just got back from a car club run about 70 miles and the 3000m is running perfect. No hot start problems or cutting out.
So the new brown wire direct from Battery to Ignition Switch was a good move. Plus new Igniton Switch.
