M BUMPERS LIGHTS
Discussion
On the early "M" series they have Chrome Bumpers and also Triumph TR6 rear Lights.
On later cars Rubber Bumpers and the rear Lights smaller and different.
So my conclusion is if the Car has TR6 Lights then Chrome Bumpers should fit correctly.
I think the Body shape was only changed when the Small Lights were fitted to later Cars.
Or in other words if your Car has TR6 Lights Chrome or Rubber will fit correctly.
Am i right

It should be that easy, it probably won’t be.
If you can buy some original chrome numbers it should be easy..
Buy some of the “new” ones and they will not fit your car without work - unless it’s a car that should not have chrome numbers..

Lucas L869, fitted to Scimitar GTE and a chrome version fitted to Aston V8 Vantage. When trying to find a set for my M I was told by Lucas Aston have plans to remake the Vantage, in the same way Jaguar remade the lightweight E types and Lister doing the Costin etc so have purchased all the chrome backing plates for the L869. That was a few year ago.
