bonnet opening

I wonder what is considered the best way to control the amount that the Bonnet opens.
That is to stop it touching the ground when it's opened.

I don't know if its "standard" but my Taimar has a thin (think throttle) steel cable.

That's what i fitted also mountainbike brake cable each side. On my 3000S there was already a Cable between an Earth Stud on the Chassis and an Earth Stud on the Bonnet Frame.

On the bonnet frame end there is a hoop with a bolt through the frame and two penny washers with a nut between them
