Grantura wheel torque and where are they now ?
Discussion
Good morning to all,
Exciting times I,m ready to take the Granny off the stands and sit her on a set of old hard rubber.
Please can someone give me the torque settings for the nuts that hold the spinners onto the break drums, also any recommendations for tyres (currently Michelin X 175 SR 15 ZX )
Once the car Is firmly on the ground and settled the screens need to go in - all advice greatfully received
Just wondering if any or all I hope are still been enjoyed
F 116 SCK G 607 OGK. H332 FLA. XTJ 280 D ( 1800 S ) and 2500 M chassis 3371TM
The M series I bought in the early 80,s it was in the factory for repairs after coming off the road
on ice deemed uneconomical repair. Two years of graft and the M rolled out of the workshop ,Over the years I have been fortunate in owning and driving many desirable cars The M Series is certainly one of the best cars I have ever owned and driven, much admired, looked stunning painted in Ford Aubergine.I sold the car 86 / 87. In the mid 2000,s I stumbled on the M in Scotland sadly it had been badly neglected and once again it was in a very sad state.I have lost details of a chap who subsequently bought the car and was restoring somewhere in Southern France,I think his name was Laurent
Please P M me if anyone can put me in contact, would love to know if the restoration is complete
Regards to all Baz
