This is the steering wheel on my 3000M

Here is the steering wheel on my 3000S

I wonder why TVR fitted different steering wheels.
Maybe each model has it's own specific steering wheel, so it was different on the 1600M and also 2500M + i don't know for the very rare 1300M.

Looking at past posts about Steering Wheels it seems the some Vixens and early "M" series shared the same Steering Wheels.
Also the suppliers were "Astrali" or "Moto-Lita". Maybe the early "Moto-Lita" with the small boss has a certain value as it's no longer available as far as i know.
At least there is no engraved signature on them like on some Lotus Elans which command crazy prices.
For the Horn Push on a 3000S i wondered if the center plastic with "TVR" is still available.

M wheel is the same as the one my ‘75 2500M came with, originally. Astrali. Cracks emanated from several bolt holes. Not the greatest quality.

On my 3000S one of the spokes broke where it joins the Rim and i got it welded.
The thing i am looking for on a 3000S is the middle part that goes under the clear plastic Disk that is printed "TVR".
I suppose i could cut out a Disk in Foil and print the letters "TVR".

What sort of price for original Steering Wheels would seem correct.
Has anyone some ideas.

All depends on the buyer and the seller
I guess condition would be important to get one re covered in leather is not cheap about £150 to £200 so i guess a wheel would be worth that if mint.

Lee at Trim Unique is fantastic at re-furbishing steering wheels.
