That's way too small - I think they are 9/16

Op, can I ask why you're asking? Do you have the sump off and struggling to get a socket to fit or are you ensuring you have the correct tools available for when it does come off?

I should clarify that by 11mm I mean the head size, as I'm sure it was a slightly snugger fit.

The bolt itself is obviously imperial, so 7/16.
