Help please.
I have a friend with he thinks is a 1962 Grantura but it has no Vin Plate or V5. Big problem how to identify the car.
Is there a Chassis n° stamped somewhere or maybe hidden somewhere a n°.
I would imagine with the Engine n° which is a MGA Engine that it would not lead anywhere.
I wondered if someone could suggest a way to find again it's Identity.
Many thanks in advance
Alan

It's this car the friend is interested in https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C995699
Do you think it's possible to trace it

I've spoken to the owner by email - it was his Grandfather's car. it is supposed to have some racing history before his Grandfather bought it. Its slightly odd in that it looks like a Mk2 but has a 'Mk3 style' chassis (there are a number of differences to a genuine Mk3 chassis) - but it could be a Mk2 chassis converted to have wishbones.
Also I spoke to John Thurner (the designer of the Mk3 chassis) and he confirmed it was not his prototype Mk3 chassis (which was based on a Mk1/2).

You will need to liaise with the TVRCC but it may be possible to obtain an age related registration number?
