Vixen 2500 Diff Oil Seals
Discussion
Hello,
Just about to order a full set of seals for the diff on my Vixen 2500 - my car is very original (as far as I can tell), has the non-overdrive Triumph box in it, but what would the diff be from? and subsequently where would be the best place to get parts for it be from?
Thanks
Joe

Its a Triumph unit in the Vixen 16OO Its the GT6 Triumph unit in the V6 Tuscan an V8 its the Salisbury on the 2500 i am not sure however the early Ms had the Triumph TR6 differential so its one of the three Triumph Rimmer Brothers is the quickest source.Just about to order a full set of seals for the diff on my Vixen 2500 - my car is very original (as far as I can tell), has the non-overdrive Triumph box in it, but what would the diff be from? and subsequently where would be the best place to get parts for it be from?

The diff on my 2500 leaks to. I was under the wrong impression that these don't have a breather. I couldn't find one on mine. A bit of Googling after reading your previous post Yosini revealed that they do have a breather. From the bits I've read. it's advised to clean and free the breather up before delving in deeper. I also believe it's a TR6 diff.
Good luck with it and let us know how you get on.
