Mine arrived yesterday....
Trying to make sense of it all...
I've emailed the chap asking if he could send me detailed of where the pieces are intended for. Some are obvious....some...to me...are not as of yet...but I'm working on it as we speak
Excellent could you post some pictures of the quality and finish on edges.Trying to make sense of it all...

They still haven't replied to me, but as you purchased a set there is hope you will get a response from them.
Also as it's not clear in there photo do the rear parts have the storage flap area.
Heh all.
It all seems pretty good to me currently. I'll try to find space (probably in the garden) to lay things out - there are a lot of pieces! I think i have a handle on most pieces now after an afternoons worth of investigation.
I did not realise that carpet sets included the sides and internal roof around the sunroof also. Mine is vinyl covered there so I don't need all of those!
I'll take some snaps and post for you.
Yes, there is vinyl underside pouch on the rear piece.
The chap did respond to one of my emails regarding mixed carpet/edging colour but that was it. The photo on Ebay is a copy of Lakewells. The pieces are not the same cut as those shown to add to my newbie confusion.
Otherwise all seems ok thus far.....
I'll be back...

Looks very nice and i can see you will only let people into the car with clean shoes.
In my 3000M there were some pieces of carpet in the footwells with frayed edges.
I have bought some vinyl Everflex to glue on the roof and for the Weathershield.
I have some spare strips so i have used them to stitch to the carpet for piping.
What a difference and so easy with my old Singer Sewing Machine.
What Insulation for heat and sound are you putting under the new Carpet.

The colour balance is way out in this image sorry. The black is nicely black

That heel pad wont last long though should have been more substantial ribbed rubber matting IMOP that vinyl will wear though rather fast does look rather nice though|https://thumbsnap.com/E3R3lUij[/url]

+1 that's what i thought also it should be hard ribbed plastic/rubber.
Maybe a hard plastic/rubber heel pad could be stitched over the top by the local shoe repairer.
Alan
ps. just looked on the net and heel pads are very cheap and in different colours

If you have contrasting piping you can also make a gaitor/bellows for the gearlever and handbrake from the same.
Alan
Yeah that would be a good idea.Alan
I'm wondering whether i should just order a set and hope for the best or go direct to Lakewell, problem is neither can respond to emails.
I find this so annoying.
I am about to spend a large sum of money on the purchase of a car related product (not carpets) and my preferred supplier takes a week to answer an e-mail and it is nigh on impossible to get the correct person on the phone.
This is for something that is not essential, and there are other suppliers who offer it.
They are coming close to loosing a large sale if they don't buck their ideas up, and you would have thought in this economy they would be doing everything to secure every sale, but they really don't seem to care. Customer service at its worst. They are lucky I had my hart set on their particular product or I would have gone elsewhere long ago. (and may still do)

Evening.
I already have some mates to go under each heel area. Even if the amount of miles done is tiny with specific driving trainers.
So, I've managed to get some more pics. Not the best but may offer some insight into the pieces of the carpet puzzle..
I apologise but some, as shown are test fitted into the car, some aren't...so hopefully this won't be too confusing for now...
These are straightforward enough. Although I can't quite decide which are the pair of pieces that fit behind each seat (1 each side) as there is not an obvious mirrored pair of pieces of the correct size.
