i have been on these pages before, promising sparto boots but failed to deliver in numbers. having been mocked for that as well and maybe justly.
but i have finally succeeded in making the correct boots in the correct sizes and the correct materials. so now i am taking orders for the boots. as i don't know how many of you out there are still interested i haven't set a price yet, but the more i sell the lower the price will be of course.
attached is a picture of the samples that have been made with the new tooling. i have tried/tested them with lenses, rings and internals and they fit perfectly.
spread the word.

note: it must have been 6 years or even more i started this expedition. there was a tvr owner in the states who sent me a new old stock boot as a base to work from. i have lost his details due to moving in the meantime, but i think his name was randy ? at least he deserves a free set to repay him for his generosity, but i don't have the man's details anymore. randy: drop me a pm if you read this or get word from someone in the community.

Well done Geert.

The light fittings fetch good money for the series Land Rovers as well, but I imagine you already know that.

i have now set a price for them at € 22.50 each plus vat, shipping and paypal fees if applicable. listed them on ebay as well now with more pictures. delivery expected 2-3 weeks from now. pre-orders are taken. already much attention drawn.

next item will be the chrome rings, hoping to receive a pattern soon. i'm thinking of reproducing them in stainless, or would you as interested parties go for the original brass/chrome version. stainless would be more cost effective i think, and these days it is hard to produce good chromework.

i would have to look into making the internals as well, but i don't have an original: maybe someone out there does??

looking forward to your replies / contributions.

lenses are readily available in amber, plain red, red with reflector and clear ( not opaque).

thank for reading. good night, geert.
