Britax sunroof installation in M?
Discussion
Hi, I have owned my M since 1985 when I bought it from David Gerald. I restored it then and have used it since then and still love to drive it in the summer.
My car didn't have a sunroof originally installed and even though Swedish summers are not very warm I wanted to improve the ventilation I therefore bought a 2nd hand Britax sunroof from David Gerald many years ago and installed it but I never did a good job of attaching the inner ceiling to the sunroof metal side bars.
After more than 30 years of use the interior that I restored that long time ago start to look a bit shabby so I have been working on restoring it and I want to do a better job of the inner ceiling installation than I did last time.
Does anyone have pictures from inside the car of how the inner ceiling and the sunroof are installed together? Front and rear is easy but the sides is the problem, should the inner ceiling be glued to the side bars or what?
Best Regards from Hans in Sweden

hello hans,
at present i have a job on my hands replacing a glass sunroof in a 2500 m by an original britax folding roof as originally done by tvr.
apart from some glassfibre work on the roofshell i also have to customize the folding parts as the standard size no longer fits.
the principle is still the same though. also have to do the complete rooflining to fit the britax roof. you can contact me for further details, or shall i put pictures on this forum of the progress?
