As a couple of you may know, I've had some real problems over the years (Since 2012) with finding somebody to restore my Vixen S3.

Firstly it was given to somebody who I thought I could trust who went and did a runner leaving a stripped car with parts missing in his old workshop.

That was all very stressful, but I did find somebody who is excellent and did the chassis and a fantastic job on the bodywork, but who no longer has the time to finish it.

So I'm looking for somebody who knows Vixens to finish it off so that it can be driven again. Somebody who can devote a bit of time to finishing it off to the standard it's now at. Somebody else looked at it recently and estimated about 200 hours was needed on it plus a few parts. I'm really not sure what I've got and what's missing to be fair, but the majority of it is there.

But unfortunately this person just has too many other cars on the go at the moment.

So if you're interested or know somebody that could be, please drop me an email and we can chat further.

Cheers,

Brian

How it last was in 2012.

It would be nice to get it done by the end of October as it's our 20th wedding anniversary and I'd love to take my wife away in it to celebrate. No pressure! smile

200 Hrs @ minimum 50/Hr = £10,000 I know this doesn't finish it for you but may give you some idea

If the body and chassis are done, 200 hours seems excessive for just putting it back together unless there are other things that need doing?

This was my initial thought considering the suspension/bushes stuff that's also been done.

Second opinion needed...

Two emails received, that I'll read and respond to tomorrow. Thanks!
