Clutches again

Following on from my previous post, I've purchased a new clutch kit from Burton. I expected it to be identical to what came out but although it is the correct splines, plate size etc and the pegs & bolt holes all line up just fine, the release bearing is much taller and the housing is much lower My thinking is that any differences can be compensated for by adjusting the clutch cable. Or is it not that simple and it's not going to work?? Any experience out there of similar issue.

Slimmer pressure plate and a taller bearing, looks good to me.
