Engine Bay colour
Discussion
Have TVR Engine Bays always been the body colour or is it only certain models.
This is one reason why i can't make a decision if i change the colour of my 3000M.
To paint the Engine Bay a different colour would be a difficult and very fiddly job.
One thing for sure i am not going down the rebuild road and stripping everything out of the Bay.
The body colour in the Engine Bay is in quite good condition and i the correct colour to paint where there are a few scrapes.
I imagine some of you guys have been in this position also

Back to your dilemma, Alan, repainting your engine bay in any colour be it black, white, sky-blue pink, or indeed Onyx Brun is going to involve the same tedious faff, which you quite understandably wish to avoid.
As you have said that, "The body colour in the Engine Bay is in quite good condition and i (have) the correct colour to paint where there are a few scrapes", surely the easiest solution would be to do just that, and attempt to love Onyx Brun as an exterior body colour. It can't be that bad or you wouldn't have bought it and lived with it thus far...
