I wish there were some way of knowing precisely when these shots were taken. In this photo, there is a blue-over-black LHD 3000S with T-slots. It can't be too many cars that have that particular specification, so I will always wonder if this one is actually mine.

Also, can anyone decipher the left column on the blackboard in this workshop photo? At first I thought they were partial chassis numbers, but they don't seem to match up with what I know about chassis number assignment.

Spot on John, they are the works order numbers, if you have the good fortune to look at the production records that Mike Penny used to keep, the cars were produced to a works order only gaining their 'official' identity with their chassis number later on in the process. The B/K, and OAT refer to the trim to be fitted, either Black or Oatmeal......Happy days with lots of lovely M-series cars in build and most likely towards the end of 1979 just prior to the Tasmin making its debut.
