Hi,
I do not have the original seats for my Vixen S3 and have no desire to fit the ones which came with the car, so am asking if anyone can recommend an aftermarket seat which will fit the car. Ones which will have adjustable runners would certainly be a bonus.
Many thanks in advance for any advice offered,
Jerry

i have put this set of aftermarket seats in my S2..fit quite well, though I had to do some modifications to my liking...do come with sliders. They are a bit of a tight fit if you are wide in the hips.
I believe these are a Corbeau copycat seat.

Adrian Venn has produced Hi Back vixen moulds and foams to allow you to replicate original seats.

I have black leather reclinable early MX5 seats. Fitted well, very comfortable, east to get in and out, more practical, safer, look good, adjustable headrest, dam better than originals that are now stuck in the loft. I know these are not original but its my car.

I’m thinking of changing mine , do you have photos? The originals are in inherently weak but a replacement needs to be short from base to seat level or my head will be touching the roof lining ...

This is the one photo I have ATM. As you can see they are pretty low but depends what type of runner you use...

The tubular steel frame seats are weak, however the seats built up around the GRP buckets are as strong as any options available.

They look fantastic.

Not sure what I'll eventually go for.
