Covered headlights ala Duetto?

Has anyone experimented with moving headlights behind the fender and putting plexi covers over the buckets?

I have a set of duetto lenses as well as a set of 240Z lenses that I can play with. I was hoping someone has already tried this. I like the bulbous headlights on the 2500M, but since the GRP needs to be refinished, this would be a good opp to try something to smooth the lines a little more?

Have you considered making your own? If you make a gypsum former, line it with felt, and put a rubber gasket around the outside, you can use a combination of heat and vacuum, to make your own (and mine).
