1962 Grantura MKIIA
Discussion
I have a 1962 Grantura MKIIA and I would like to remove the steering box to have it refurbished. The current steering box is from a Ford 101E and I would like to know if anyone has any tips or knowledge on how to remove it. It appears that the steering shaft (really it is a tube with the shaft inside) that leaves the steering box and travels to the steering wheel is one piece. The tube than attaches to the firewall. Which doesn't make sense as I have a spare steering box that has a removable bolt to disconnect the steering shaft (but was never fitted to my car).

Brandon,
I've sent your a message, there is a Grantura Facebook group with number of restorations ongoing, someone should be able to help.
If you let me have your email address I can invite you to the group.

Could you please invite me at this group on Facebook? I'm starting the restauration of my Grantura MK3.
