I've just received a delivery of goodies

So the front hub is already off, bearings out, calipers off and I have the following to fit
Bearings, ball joints, trackrod ends, wishbone bushes, and new trunnions then overhaul the calipers with new pistons and seals
Is there a preferred order to go about removing wishbones? and any advice on removing/refitting trunnions please. I know to fill trunnions with gear oil rather than grease but where and which lube to use elsewhere and torque settings would also be great.
Lots of questions I know, sorry.

Looks like a lot of nice shiney new bits! I don't really have any tips except to make sure when you fit the trunions, that they have enough thread left to make the full turn! It's quite annoying to have take it all to bits again! I think the recommended oil used to be EP90.

Anyone know any torque setting for the wishbone bolts, calipers etc?

Hopefully made a little progress plodding through tonight but no idea if it's the most logical method.Trackrod end, ball joint and upper wishbone removed. I cannot remove the bolts from the caliper mounting plate, what bloody size are they? TVR parts manual states 3/8 UNF but my 3/8 socket ain't playing ball, nor is any other socket/spanner I own.
I've removed the upright by unscrewing it up and out of the trunnion base. Now the bit I'm stuck at....The nut and nylon bearing are off the trunnion through-bolt, but the bolt refuses to budge.
I've also noticed the angle that the lower wishbone yoke where it meets the trunnion is on the right side is angled, see pic. So firstly, is this a problem? and secondly, and advice on removing that bolt!

Would that be the through-bolt at the base of the shock, the one in the background of my 3rd pic? If so, no. I was a bit concerned whether I should have a spring compressor in place before I went near that and I'm yet to buy one.

It's ok to remove the spring and shock combo without a spring compressor, the spring is contained by the shock collars.

That bolt is clamping the trunnion assembly and need undoing.

Silly question but is the other side angled also or has it been bent!!!!!

Hi Alan
No the left side looks to be in line with the trunnion, hence my concern

Just a thought you may well find it more pleasant working on the corners if you got a spay gun with some de greaser and had everything clean before you start and prevent grit etc getting into those nice new parts

I managed to get another hour in the garage tonight. Shock/spring assembly removed, lower wishbone removed but the trunnion bolt is still seized through the left wishbone, I'll have to get it in a vice next.
Without tension, the offset in the right wishbone is more noticeable, is this in need replacement?

Hi Andrew
Your not kidding, the waxoyl has done its job well but it's horrible stuff to handle. Everything being worked on will be cleaned up well before any new bits are refitted.
While I'm at it, it looks like I will need a replacement bush for this er tie bar? which I don't see itemised in the TR6 or TVR parts list
(The lower one in the pic that attaches to the chassis rail ) seems to have a small bush at the wishbone end.

It looks like the Anti Roll Bar in that photo. The one you have is an aftermarket rose jointed ARB from David Geralds. Its the same as mine. The rubber bushes in the roll bar end is generic I think. Several suppliers on the web for bushings if you know the dimensions, or you can use top hat bushes in polymer, also widely available. I think mine were supplied with polymer bushes.

Remember, the items you are dealing with, the wishbones and chassis are fabricated and welded parts, there will be some tweaking required they won't just align like machined parts.
