Hello.

I am a new member looking for either 3000M or Taimar after some years away (not inside!). I am not new to TVRs and as previous 3000M owner have been hankering after another one for sometime now. Anyway if anyone has or knows of someone who might be interested in selling to a private enthusiast then would be nice to hear from them. Would also be good know if my previous 3000M registration PML 968R still exists- have loads of photos from late 80s (of the car!). If anyone is interested.

re your old 3000M, there appears to be no record of it on the DVLA website at

https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk

which is surprising but perhaps it has been sat in a garage or barn since before the records were digitised. Someone else may have some record of it, or you could try writing to Richard Sails who is the club achivist to see if the club has a record of the car. I think his email address is on the TVRCC website.

I've also searched ............... and searched .......... and searched. But no record of this car/plate. You've not made an error in the plate details you've given us, have you? Seems strange that nothing at all comes up when checking for this car. Even when cars have been taken off the road (sorn, etc), they show up. But not this one!

Thanks all, It definitely existed- got scars to prove it, I suppose it could have been scrapped long ago! but was British racing green, black roof, 3.1 ltr, stage 2 heads & triple twin choke Webbers!....lovely. Anyway will keep digging but thanks welcoming messages.

Hi New bloke, my own white 1978 3000m is coming out of 6 month storage at the end of next week for mot/ service and coming back on the road, selling due to damaged thumb last year in bicycle accident. P.m me if you want photos/ details of work done (nottinghamshire)
