Looking for recommendations for decent adjustable height/damping shocks and springs for an 1800s. I had AVOs on my last vixen but they were harsh. Will be used mainly for the road or the occasional track day. Cheers

How much do you want to spend?

On a budget I quite like Protech's

Avos on all my cars i dont find them harsh at all it all depends on what spring length and strength spring you order them with i hear a number who say the same however i chose my own settings based on advice from friends and they are spot on
My Vixen already had the current set up and its also very nice ride wise with one shock and spring set up rather than two shocks one spring

Protechs are good at the budget end of the market however I'd recommend Quantum shocks in Pulborough. Made to order and as sophisticated or not as you would like. Rather more than Protechs but rather better too. Better than Ohlins too IMHO

Patrick the owner is an ex F1 suspension designer, so its the real deal.
