Anyone Know if my Dads old Grantura Mk3 is still out there
Discussion
long shot but just wondered if my dads Tvr Grantura Mk3 is still about if anyone does racing
he sold it in 2005 i think it was and it was laid up in my dads garage for about 20 years before he parted with it, it was red at the time and the reg was 333 fww. he sold it to some guy in the Netherlands who was going to race it
ive always wondered whatever happened to it. its probably a long shot but noticed there quite a lot of TVR interest on here so thought i would ask on teh offchance. ive got no photos but i think i can mayeb dig 1 out when it was on the road

Hi Tom
I remember your Dad's car being up for sale. I think it was on e.bay but probably a little later than 2005.
I had to go and see it when I read the location. That was 100 yards off my commute route throu an East Yorks village that I had been doing for years. By the time I got there, it was sold but your Dad still let me have a quick look. It was a very complete car and appeared unmolested. He did say that it was going to Holland.
I did take a couple of photos of it in the stone barn. I will try to find them. As an ex MKIII owner (car now in Canada), I was particularly interested. So close!!
Regards
Steve
