Interesting Vixen To Start 2017 with

+1 yes it does look nice and sporty with the Alpha engine.
Just right for one of the boys here in France being a lhd.
The real big problem here in France there is no way to register it in France with a different engine from original. We even have to show a photo of the engine in the car and be able to see the number stamped in the block + the same number on the Ident plate fixed to the body.

Wow. there can't be many classic TVR's still running the original engine. We'll just have to keep all of them over here. What a shame

If the chassis plate displayed the correct (ie Alpha) engine number alongside the correct original chassis number would that satisfy the French authorities. How would the French know what engine it left the factory with?
Hi been watching this car on eBay nice with the Alfa engine I used to work in an alfa. Agents in the 70s these engines are race bred and fantastic if I could find one and a gearbox I would consider fitting it to my vixen instead of the v6colone it has in now, I notice this car never reached the reserve price maybe it's because shipping from America would be a large amount on top of purchase price , although in my mind the price it went to was quite reasonable for a car like that even with shipping, wonder what the reserve was set at
