On my 3000m the heater doesn't get hot.
The bypass hose between the 2 "Tees" does.
It seems there is no restricter inside the bypass hose.
I will make a restricter to slide inside the bypass hose.
What size hole do you think i need to drill in the centre of the restricter 5 or 6mm dia
thanks
Alan

I would guess about 3mm to start with. The old Triumph six used a 1/8 inch bypass hole for its heater, and that seems the default for bleed hole sizes in thermostats etc..... so seems about right.

I have made a restricter with a 6mm hole and i am just waiting for a delivery of a new Heater Valve from Rimmer Bros. I would like to bleed the heater circuit once.
I still have an Autochoke and would like to be sure there is enough flow through it when the Heater Valve is closed.
cheers Alan

Sucess super top,
i made a restricter with 3mm dia hole and slipped it in the Bypass hose.
I also fitted a new Heater Valve from Rimmer Bros.
The only thing different is i need to pull the Heater knob for hot and not push for hot.
It seems more logical to pull for hot like on my Lotus Elan
Thanks for the help
Alan
