22mm dia. anti-roll bar for the Taimar, when the roads thaw out a bit we'll go for a "blat" and see it feels any different scratchchin

Are you going to use alloy mountings also?

No, it's a Chimaera item I've modified, bought it complete with a pair of brand new poly bushes so they'll do nicely smile

Cut these bits off......

...... then cut, ground, filed and drilled the ends to form two new drop link mounting holes. Also had to bend the ends in a little to match the line of the original.

Been for a little drive and feels good, combined with my modified (lowered 1.25") rack mounting bracket which has drastically reduced "bump steer" I think we are getting there!

What's the advantage of a thicker antiroll bar. Is it to reduce oversteer ? Or is it to keep the car more horizontal when taking corners.
Can someone explain please

For me it was to reduce body roll when cornering ( on track) without having to go too stiff on spring rates for a road car.
I also have fitted a rear arb.

How have you reduced the steering rack height?

Cut the existing mounts off the chassis and fabricated some new ones.

Quite like that arrangement.

Standard M arrangement always looks like it's ready to come apart..

Same reason but mine doesn't go on track.
