to be fair if there was a chance of seeing a TVR on this program none of us would be trying to watch it, as it one of the worst programmes on TV
Speak for yourself i enjoy most antique shows including this American Pickers being the favorite one of the few programs my Wife and I watch together when we get the chance. As far as the footage there is a good coverage of the car if you watch all the way through.
No Break downs i believe for any of the TVRs that appear in this and the Celebrity version later in the year so well done the Trevors
Plus all the Drivers fell in love with the cars i know they loved the Tuscan big time with both of them driving her

Edited and I agree. I do antiques but don't recognise the discussions and deals as being reality as it's staged stuff, but fills a gap I suppose.

Its a popular show many watch and enjoy and yes a lot is staged and they dont drive between each place the cars are transported between film shoots although my Vixen was driven to and between shoots on one day with my permission as there was a shortage of transporters that day as there was several things being filmed on the same day.
Why Piston heads has to always be the place where people turn things into a slagging match i have no idea when my cars come up i will just post them elsewhere

Aha editing correct this time! My consensus is the Classic car filming and banter is great, reality of show less so. It's nothing personal ! IMO there needs to be a decent classic car series doing say 6 cars a programme. And ideally all of the ones I'm interested in. That would be a couple of years of programmes for a start.

It was worth watching for the sound alone, beautiful car too.
We had it full volume (or I did) which made it difficult when they were speaking. Wonderful.Gassing Station | TVR Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
