Taimar rear light lens

Just seeking confirmation that the red lenses in the Scimitar/Aston lights are Lucas L782 ?

I can't remember the number from the top of my head but I have replaced both light units, the best route to follow is the scimitar. Breakers yards on eBay are where I purchased mine for a quarter of the price of when they had Aston or TVR mentioned.

No, they're L891.

The L782s don't have the reversing lenses and were used on earlier Astons, but not TVR, Scimitar, Lotus, Jensen-Healey.

I have lots of spares ones, for about a tenner each.

Dont worry i read his post Collin Lyons and if thats all he needs he is sorted then however if the rest of the light is a bit past there best then a complete new set really does make the car look great.

Slightly embarrassing, I posted the question in the small hours but now I've actually looked at the car, The Lucas part no is moulded into the lens!!
