John in talking with Mark Zappa he decided to switch to V8 Power as the V6 was very costly over there to maintain at peak performance levels competitively.His Ric Wood engine i believe has come back to the UK and they fitted the V8 as maintaining a race spec V8 in the US is far easier and less expensive over there as parts etc are so much easier to obtain and plenty of V8 race specialists there as well
