Interesting - a 1968 S2 with an MG engine not registered until 1974 on an 'N' plate?
I guess the race history may explain some or all of this, though I didn't know S2's were manufactured with the MG engine.
Curious - anyone got any further info? BIG asking price !

Begs the question why anybody would want to put a B series into a "lighweight" car over the ford engines originally specified for the Vixen S2/3/4 in that later body style. Presumably some kind of entry requirement for motorsport of some description?
It would be interesting to know the chassis no. I wonder if the later 2.0 litre version is the O series engine? Still can't imagine this would be a better option than sticking with the x-flow at almost 50% of the weight of a B engine plus equivalent g-boxes.

There were very few 1968 S2s made and quite a few that were made in late 68 didn't get registered until 69. The chassis number should confirm roughly when this car might have left Blackpool.
The brake bias gizmo looks like quite a thing! It's a slight odd mix of extra (heavy) blingy stuff and performance mods. Interesting car all the same.
