3000M bonnet hinge

I would like to fit quick release bonnet hinges to my 3000m.
Also is there a modification possible so when you open the bonnet it lifts a little to let it open more. That is to give better access to spare wheel

I think there is also someone who made a different hinge that lifts the bonnet while opening.
So when the bonnet is open it is more vertical giving better access.

Hi Alan,

Mine has been modified to open to near vertical. This is the frame "addition".
Looking for a pic of the complete assembly.

now, that looks interesting as i would like to modify but kill 2 birds with one stone.

I've copied this design, with a few minor changes, and it works well.
