The Craigslist posting was deleted by the author not too long after publishing it...so either the Griffith was sold or the owner had a change of heart...

The very early Griffs had these side vents, made and installed by the chaps at the Griffith w/shops where the cars were finished (engines installed)

"Note From Mike Mooney: There are approximately 18 early Griffith Series 200 cars that were unique to the breed. When the Ford 289 engine was initially installed in the TVR Grantura Mk III body the lack of evaluation of the beast caused some design problems, one of which was the poor cooling. At the factory it was thought that trapped hot air inside the engine compartment was causing the overheating and we cut larger air exit holes on each vent location. These were filled with an aluminum grid fabricated from the Formica counter-top edging that we purchased at a local hardware store. These cars were affectionally called "Refrigerator Cars."

Taken from a recent advert for 200-5-006.

How`re things Rich ?

THIS AD IS A SCAM. Its this bunch:

http://www.ddg-classic-cars.com/

They say they on the website they are linked to Hexagon Classics London but from a previous ad I followed up Hexagon have had people contacting them having lost deposits etc. Hexagon are nothing to do with DDG and think the scam comes from Romania.

It is? the ad says he is located in Belgium?
but no phone number, so if you mail them you mail the scammer who is not in Belgium?
normally when its a scam on autoscout they will remove it if a complain comes in, the ad is still online on autoscout.
