The one that the boys in Northumberland have been advertising (for more months than I can count...)
Assuming it's still available (still on here.. http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C487859 )
Why hasn't it sold? Assume it's either over priced or it's something to do with the dealer....
Obviously Cat D doesn't help...
Anyone know the story on this car?

It had an engine fire. Looking at the pictures that were posted at the time the owner should have just fixed it as it would have only cost a couple of hundred, if that. The damage looked less than mine when my fuel pipe and split in the engine bay.
does seem strange that they had the insurance pay out for salvage unless there were other issues.
Not sure of the price it's up for now.

that's the bronze one with cream stripe. I think it looks o.k.
Last w/e a cat D Silver Wedge sold and it was very nice. I was just was too late to buy it.
Cat D depends on what the car was insured for. If it was under insured/valued that's what happens.
Imho you need to insure the car for it's true value or you can find yourself in the S***.

If I were interested in it, I would at least have a look at it in the flesh.
Assuming some folks actually have been to see it, and that something is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, it must be too expensive. I'd have thought that it'd have gone by now as they've had it up for sale for so long.
