Rvixen interior trim

Hi everyone
I have an S4 vixen and the chrome strips near the top of the doors is missing. Does anyone have any ideas as to how or where I might source replacements

Welcome to the forum.

Did the S4 have these? I ask, because some Vixens I have seen didn't have them and some did. Whether these were just not replaced after restoration don't know. There are various of these trims around a Vixen and they came and went with the changing styles. For example, there is one inside, behind the seats, above wheel arch line in some at the point between the black vinyl trim and the white headlining. Some S1s have it, mine doesn't. Whats more there are no screw holes or mounting blocks for it either.

As to availability, I know various people have had batches of this type of trim made in the past, some may still be around. Its been available in both aluminium and stainless I think.

It would be nice to see some pictures of your car. The S4 Vixen is quite a rare beast I understand.

Thanks guys, i look forward to hearing from anyone that may have a pair for sale. The car did have one on the drivers door but unfortunately a bodyshop guy lost it during the replacement of inner door parts.
I haven't got any pictures of the car but i'll do my best to get some posted at the weekend.

The guy who supplied mine apparently has some available. He's not a parts supplier, but occasionally gets items made up for his own cars and adds some extras for others doing restos. They are stainless and good quality. If you let me have your e mail address I ll mail you his details.

I thought the S4 had a single top strip on the door card. My old S2 has two strips per door and one aft of the B post.

Yeah thats right, one strip across the top of each door card
