Lucas screen washer motor fail

As in title, keep failing every year when MOT is due. I don't use it allot. Dead as anything but power getting to it.
It's only a £10 part but every year! Anyway, is there a way to get it going of just buy another one?
Or a better one on the market.

Buy a new unit, our market just does socks and knocked off coats anyway it's bloody useless.
