I understand from the 'other side' that these are TVR made - does anyone have one spare from a Vixen rebuild/racer? I have a gap between the heater and air duct that needs filling. This is the bit (Thanks to AG for the loan of his car for the day for the photo):

it may not be missing. Some vixens had a foam seal and air was taken in at that point via the bonnet moulding, air intakes.
Have you tried Ashley Hintons website?

Thanks Neil
Its definitely a horn type as the duct to the front is present, had a look at Ashley Hinton but its trade only/password etc and appears to be MG/AH only. frown

Don't know for sure, but it might NOT be a TVR special - those Lucas heater boxes were used in quite a lot of cars the motors turn up everywhere,
the box itself matches the small Triumph shape (Herald/Spitfire) from your photo, but I beleive it was also used in early Rovers ??

Just in case this helps any....

Many thanks. The triumph and rover stuff seems to be very metal cast/folded tin in various forms I think TVR may have been a bit ahead of themselves using a bit of plastic instead!
